"Omens, Memory of time between January and July 2012"

Tinta/papel/Aro de madera
Ink / paper / wood ring
145x145x120cm

Drawing in 360 degrees suspended from the ceiling, it is a network of extraordinary natural events recorded in that period and witnessed only in Mexico.

In 1910, José Guadalupe Posada made a series of cardboard in relation to the passage of Halley's Comet in that year as an omen of the end of the world, at the end of the same year the Mexican revolution began. "Omens, memory of time between January and July 2012" I think of it as an omen to an open door, something that is about to happen, which accommodates the year of the end of the world, the year 2012.

Among the natural phenomena are: The earthquakes of January and February 2012, the lunar Perineum, the spectacular eruption of the Popocatepetl Volcano registered by National Geographic in April 2012, the tornado that entered Mexico City by Ecatepec dissipating, after raise the SENTE settlement and after throwing a tree at the entrance of the Metropolitan Cathedral, in the city's Zocalo. Hurricane Carlotta, the wonderful crossing of Venus in front of the Sun, the Lunar Eclipse observed from the north of the country and the supposed meteorite fallen in Veracruz.
